Adventure Challenge North Wales
After a hard three day recce in this event area, we have now secured access for canoeing, mountain biking, night navigation, orienteering and the trail run/walk. But most importantly, we have secured a great area for camping - the event Basecamp.
The whole area is relatively gentle, with no technical singletrack off-road cycling which may raise a smile with some of you who have attended our challenges previously..! The highest peak is around 1600 feet, so no nasty surprises in store on this event.
The MTB Orienteering course has been planned, and this offers some real challenges for those wishing to attempt some 100km of easy lanes, byways and trails, but is still easy and interesting for any first-timers.
Cost of 2008 Adventure Challenges
We have tried our best to keep entry fees low, and think our challenges still offer the best value for money events you can find..!
SOLO: £60
PAIRS: £110
TEAM (4): £180
Most other Adventure Races charge these entry fees for a single day...
Event Partners
If you work for a company that may want to sponsor one of our events - please let us know..! These events are supported completely by our other, more viable challenge events. To help us invest more in competitor facilities we need some event sponsors or partners.
Can you help? _________________ Regards, Richie

Campsite.
The Challenge campsite has extremely limited facilities, and all teams should note that they are expected to be fully self-contained for the entire weekend.
You should ensure that you bring enough water supplies with you for the weekend, and be prepared for limited toilet facilities. You will also need your own personal lighting for moving around the site after dark (ie - torches).
You may also consider bringing a shelter or cover to keep your mountain bikes dry in case of rain/poor weather. _________________ Regards, Richie

Hi
My August challenge team of four are having to travel down with two cars soo do you know of anywhere nearby where we could leave one vehicle for the weekend?
Also
What type of canoes do we use?
And
One of my group is not the name we originally entered. We are Bendy Barbara's Gymnastics (not really) and instead of Roger Firth we have Jackie Ward in our team.
