AA autoroute shows a drive time of 5hours 45 minutes. We recommend you stop at Gretna Services on the M6 for 15 minutes to fuel up, change drivers, get kit ready for Scafell Pike, etc. So if you don't make any navigational errors, don't hit any traffic delays, and stick to the speed limit - you should be on the ball. Although we don't have a minimum limit for Wasdale to Llanberis, AA autoroute shows 4hours 39minutes. Due to the heavier traffic you may encounter in north Wales on a sunny Sunday morning, we don't impose any limit - just arrive safely when you can. Most teams will take 5 - 5.5hours.
